September was the last time I posted, yikes where did that time go!

Sorry for all of you that have been checking periodically to see if there has been anything new posted. 

Life got busy.

I've got my act together and there are a few scheduled posts coming your way but I figured I would start out with instapics to give you a bit of what we've been up to this fall.

1. The girls and I drove to my parents house to spend a week there just before thanksgiving. Their yard is so beautiful in the fall. We were even able to help rake the leaves twice, which was tons of fun, and my mom made a scarecrow with the girls. Among other fun fall activities.

2. For thanksgiving we ended up going into the mountains with hubby's family and deep frying a turkey, yummy!

3. On both my side and hubby's we've decided to do home made Christmas gifts. So I've already started this little cross stitch for someone special.

4. Sent away for a free Disney planning DVD. We are heading to Disneyworld in May!! I'm sooo excited.

5. We went for a family golf day at the beginning of October. My first time out all season. We all had a blast.

6. This past weekend I was at the fall scrapbook retreat I usually go to. Record amount of pages, 36! Now I'm all caught up!

Not doing great at keeping up with my insta-pic posts, oops. Anyways...

- The girls and I went to a park in town that has no play sets just green space, it was nice for a change. They loved to watch the fountain.
- We did some baking to give to some neighbors. T was quite into it.
- S started Preschool this last week, more pics coming.
- I treated myself to a new scentsy plugin. I love it! Especially since it has a yummy fall scent in it (Cider Mill).
- T decided to do some art work on a closet door. Apparently the white was to much to handle, it needed some color.
- Hubby had been busy prepping our yard for sod, which came Friday, yay!!


- oh ya, and we had fun with a wig....since the halloween stuff is now out!

We are still trying to soak up what we have left of the nice weather. 

I think we are going hiking today after church to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and colors. 
I love this time of year!

Well I have definitely been slacking on insta-pic posts but as you can see we've been having a fun filled summer! We've been camping, visiting with family and friends, spending time at our local spray park, going to the mountains and exploring, we went to the fair...... it's been a blast! 

Although summer is soon coming to an end I have to admit I crave getting back into routine and I love the fall season here. S will be starting Preschool this year so we have been getting ready for that as well as her 4th birthday next week! Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!

If you follow me on instagram (justkerr) you might have seen that hubby was working on my computer last week. He gave it a complete overhaul- new hard drive, new operating system. A little daunting but I've slowly been getting used to it. I can no longer use my normal photo editing program (I had been using picasa but google has no support for my newer ubuntu system, errr!) so I am trying out Picmonkey (which I have used on occasion). I thought I would try out this new style of collage for instapics, highlighting one picture but still showing some others. Your thoughts? Anyways on to the deets:

1. I broke the glass on this shadowbox and was going to drop it off at take it or leave it. But then I came up with the idea to transform it into a necklace and bracelet holder. So glad I didn't get rid of it!

2. Bought a brand new afghan at a garage sale for $5. Love the colors and it's huge!

3. The girls enjoying ice cream at my parents cabin.

4. T being silly pretending to sleep in the shopping cart.

5. Love this guy.

6. One rainy afternoon S and I painted together at the kitchen table while T was napping. I finished my painting and will share with you soon.

1. Me and my girls after my 5k race a couple of weeks ago. The girls both ran a 1k. It was so fun!

Although it's been almost a month since the last insta-pics, I haven't really taken that many. 

I took a few in NYC but I figured I wouldn't share those since you can check out my post from Friday.

1. I bought myself my very own nail clippers, yup still haven't bit off my nails!

2. Baby girl falling asleep in my arms is pretty far and few in between these days.

3. T has become my little assistant whenever I am at my desk.

4. Bought a handmade scarf at a school fundraiser and added buttons to it to make it a cowl.

5. Speaking of scarves, a friend bought cheap fabric and I ended up making 19 infinity scarves from what she got.

6. It's been raining a lot and since we don't have developed yard or driveway, we ar stuck with a moat and a plywood sidewalk.

7. Did some smashin'

8. The girls brushing my hair and making sure I'm ready for my trip.9. Went to a friends bridal shower and this was my contribution to the snack table. Gotta love little people.

In other news I ran my first 5 km race yesterday and then did a 1 km funrun with the girls. My finish time was 30 minutes 45 seconds, which I was thrilled about.
So happy I was able to accomplish that!

I've been busy getting together with friends, having BBQ's, garage saleing, visits to the park, running, playing outside. I think summer might actually be here! It's May long so I'm still crossing my fingers that we don't get another dump of snow (it's happened a couple of times in the last few years!). Anyways on to the picture details:

1. I've been making myself a lot of veggie roll-ups lately. Dipped in hoisin sauce, so yummy!
2. Hubby went away for a week to do a course, so it was just me and my girlies.
3. One night I had a date with my sketch book watching Pitch Perfect. Love that show.
4. Propped S up with some bubbles one afternoon so I could clean my car (T was napping).
5. A vintage phone that I found at a garage sale for $2. It looks cool and it WORKS!! ..although it does take forever to dial. 
6. It's dandelion season and both girls are picking me bouquets all the time, love it!
7. I heart garage sales. Along with the goodies pictured I also bought two pieces of furniture to revamp, yay.
8. An afternoon with great friends down by the river. 
9. A cookie bouquet that I got for mothers day. It looked amazing and it was so tasty! (Those are cake pops and chocolate covered strawberries in the front, yum)

1. The girls and I watched The Sound of Music one Sunday afternoon. S loved all the songs and watching all the VonTrapp children dance around....although she did get quite bored with the slow parts.
2. We did matching manicures. Love those baby hand dimples.
3. T dove into the coffee table and got a bruise above her eyebrow. She is one tough cookie.
4. It was my birthday a week ago and Hubby surprised me with a big apple....a trip to New York with some girlfriends!!! I am so excited. I was pretty impressed with the hubby's creativity, there was a crossword puzzle attached to the apple with words all connected to NYC.
5. On our local garage sale site I was able to snag some awesome Stella and Dot jewelery (as well as a Lia Sophia necklace). I was so thrilled! And I absolutely love the pieces I bought. Some of it is for S (check out the pic below). I actually ended up getting us matching bracelets, so fun.
6. Yup, my nails are still growing. Haven't bit them in quite some time...although I am coming up to the crucial spot, where they will get too long and I usually bite them off instead of grabbing clippers. Wish me luck! 
7. My girlies all dolled up for a birthday party. So cute, I had to make it a bigger picture.

1. I've been really into circle scarves lately, loved this combo of pink with yellow pants.
2. On Easter Sunday we were surprised to come home from church and find an easter egg hunt waiting for us outside our door. My friend and her kids set it up, so fun!
3. Confession time, I'm a nail biter. Always have been. But there are times (mostly for special events) that I have enough self control to grow them out. I am attempting to stop all together this time around, this pic was from last week. Haven't chomped yet, wish me luck!
4. The girls and I went to the pet store this past week and added three new members to our family: Dory, Nemo and Curtis. 
5. Naps with dad, melt my heart.
6. Making more rosette necklaces, these were a special order for three lil girls and their momma.
7. It's the middle of April. There's STILL snow here! Again I ask myself why we live in this climate.....anyways the girls are itching to get outside so as an alternative we ride bikes and do sidewalk chalk in the garage.
8. Flowers from hubby's friend who came to see our new house. I was totally impressed.
9. And lastly my cute lil girl with a diaper wedgie...priceless.

Busy, that's what I've been. 

Besides not touching the blog in awhile I also have not been instagraming much lately. (only 9 pics for almost a month,yikes)

Although what I have been doing is vacationing,unpacking, decorating, and playing.

1. Remember this growth chart that I made last year? Well I measured both girls for a third time and they are growing like weeds.

2. On a road trip to meet my parents so that they could watch the girls while hubby and I went to Cuba!! (sorry no vacay insta-pics)

3. Bought a new rug.

4. Always playing dress-up around here, my lil hula girl.

5. Got new curtains.

6. Made S a little reading nook in her closet complete with tinkerbell wall decals, tons of cushions and a small touch light that hangs on the wall.

7. We had our first rubber boot wearing day this past week. There's still snow though (sad face).....and there will be for awhile yet (even sadder face).

8. One morning S said, 'Mommy look! My teddy bear is peeing in your coffee!'. haha funny kid.

9. My good friend (and Hubby's cousin) was over to pick out music for the Sunday morning church service which her and my hubby will lead. It was a great morning filled with music, coffee and a good chat.

I figured insta-pics was the best way to catch you up on what I've been up to.

Let's get started shall we?

 1 and 2. The kids have been sick. Ugg, if it wasn't one thing it was another....they are almost back to full health (except both still have a nasty coughs, atleast we are done with throwing up!).
3. Valentines Day breakfast (Ya, I know where have I been? That was awhile ago.)Easy Peasy toast cut with a cookie cutter with strawberry jam on top!
4. The girls got little stuffies from us. S got Woody from Toy Story and T got Pascal from Tangled.
5. T busy coloring.
6. Registration is open for a run that is on my goal list for this year....note to self: I still need to sign up!

7. Started making some fabric rosette necklaces that I am going to be selling soon.
8. While on a drive we were so close to the mountains, yet so far away. So pretty, this stretch of highway is one of the most relaxing for me.
9. Oh yeah, did I mention WE MOVED! ....AGAIN! ...hoping to be posting more about that soon. It's been a busy couple of weeks.
10. My crazy/silly girl dressed up so sweet.
11. No longer a baby, we moved her to the toddler bed....and S is now in a single bed.
12. Yesterday was Dr. Seuss's birthday and our library had some kids activities going on... Of course we couldn't leave without a Lorax mustache!

1. Rice and Veggie burgers (adapted from this recipe) and an amazing salad using double crunch honey garlic chicken. YUM!  
2. I shared my instagram poster in Tuesdays post. I am so happy I got it!
3. The house is nearing completion. Our family has been slightly carpet deprived in the last couple houses so the girls love visiting daddy at work just to play on it.
4. Jello for dessert while out for a family supper. Messy yet worth it!
5. Bible study and coffee, a great way to start the day.

7. A bit of silliness, 3D glasses are cool.
8. Miss Independent never needs any help when we are out walking. Last week she actually sat in a puddle rather than taking my hand to walk through it. She is such a character!
9. Happy mail day to me, got some new washi tape. Already made a project I'll share soon.

Speaking of projects, I haven't been doing to many these days (other than staining and painting for the house) but luckily I have some posts scheduled of some stuff that I had done a couple weeks back.

In the mail a few weeks back I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a parcel I had been waiting for. 

You know how much I like Instagram (hence all the Insta-pics)...

 well there is a company who will take your Instagram photos and make really cool stuff with them. 

When I originally saw Little Pink Monsters post about Printstagram, I knew I had to order.

 I couldn't help myself!

I decided to order the tiny books. 

A group of three with 25 photos in each.

I picked 75 pics total and they were randomly put in each book.  Kind of a fun surprise to see which pictures were in each book. They have magnetic closure so they stay together nicely and since I don't want to lose them they are stuck on the fridge, bonus!

I love looking at it and I can't wait to hang it up at the new place.

I titled the poster 'our year in pictures 2012'.

4. Poor little T was sick last week. I got a lot of cuddles in.

6. Our niece came for a sleepover last weekend.
7. All three girls enjoyed playing outside in the nice weather we were having.

9. While shopping S spotted these adorable disney princess little people. Both girls still had some Christmas money left over so they got a set each. They are so stinkin' cute!

Nope, last week wasn't skipped or late. New year, new plan. I've decided to do insta-pics every two weeks instead of every week. A little easier for me to keep up with, both picture wise and post wise. So here we go.

1. Kisses. She keeps saying 'Mommy I love you so much!', melts my heart.
2. Last week made homemade french onion soup and homemade french bread.
3. S had a couple friends over and they made their own pizza's. Here they are watching the pizzas cook.
4. Tried out these easy cinnamon bun waffles.
5. Baby girl eating snacks and looking cute.
6. Tuesday night enjoying some pork gyozas in my PJs watching Ben and Kate.
7. Took the girls swimming.
8. Went to the city with hubby to pick up cabinets for the new house! Made a quick stop at the mall for shopping, supper and second cup.
9. Had some luck in the jewelery section of Forever 21.

1. Our house is coming along. Hubby will start flooring this week and the first coat of paint has been put on. This is when I really start getting anxious to move in!
2. We celebrated new years with a bunch of friends. This girl is the reason I met hubby, love her so much!
3. Sweet girl cuddled up with her Jessie doll that she got for Christmas.
4. Some cross stitch progress.
5. T was being silly one day and she would point at the potty and say 'pee' so I took off her diaper and let her sit on it. She loved it, she was so proud. And she actually stayed on it for awhile. Potty training an 18 month old....hmm I'm not sure I'm up for it, but we'll see.
6. S did some fine coloring the other day. She first colored all the flower centers yellow and then colored every single petal (one by one) blue. She was very persistant (it took awhile) but she was so happy when she was finished. It's sure neat to see her skill improve.
7. Woke up bright and early yesterday to drive to a friends wedding. We even got to drive into the sunrise.
8. The wedding was so beautiful and I am so happy for the couple. It was extra special because I got to see and visit a lot of my college friends. It was a great day.

As for right now my family is at church and I am home sick with a nasty cold, blah. I guess it was going to be my turn sooner or later.... hubby had it new years eve, poor thing. Anyways hope your feeling happy and healthy!

 I never got around to posting last week in all the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle and I couldn't stand ending the year off on #39.  So it's a double week (again... sigh) but lets pretend I posted 39 last week and 40 this week Ok? Great.

 1. Recieved my first homemade Christmas decoration from S, with help from her Awana leader. Many more of these type of things in my future, yay!
2. My lil baby is growing up. She sat at the counter with big sister for lunch and loved it!
3. S was my shopping partner for some last minute things and she fell asleep between stops while reading a book. So sweet.
4. I lucked out on the local garage sale page and got a large vintage pyrex bowl to match a small one I already had (which was also found at a garage sale). Score! 
5. My muffin tin advent calendar became empty way to quickly. Seriously, where does the time go???
6. My little sweetie wore my old Christmas dress to church on the 23rd (which my mom made). Pretty darn cute, even if she looked straight from the 80's!

1. I attempted to rock some yellow (via my headband and jeans). Verdict is still out on whether I pulled it off or not.
2. After finishing all my Christmas present crafting and baking I decided to start a new cross stitch just for me. It's been a fun project to work on during the holidays.
3. Familiar with Zoolander? T is pulling off 'Blue Steel' quite nicely....and her hair cracks me up daily, man does that kid have a mop!
4. Again sitting up to the counter, sisters having a snack.
5. Yesterday we spent the afternoon with friends behind our house playing on the pond rink. S even tried skating for the first time!
6. That same afternoon the girls getting a ride in the sled around the rink. It was so nice to have some warmer weather for a change.

Another double week.....

3. We went hunting for our tree this week, found a swamp spruce full of tiny pinecones. I love it!

5. I treated myself to three glass owl ornaments. This is just one of them, isn't he cute?
6. Mom and Dad were here for the weekend and mom and I went shopping at a small consignment store just out of town. We had some luck and came back with these goodies.
