So I decided to make a growth chart,
to record how much they have grown and remember how little they used to be.
This growth chart tutorial from Craft Snob has been at the top of my project list for a little while. I have wanted to get it done sooner rather than later because the girlies are growing like weeds.
Here's how it turned out:
I used regular shoe canvas as the base and the cotton fabric is Modern Meadow Poppy from Michael Millers Secret Garden collection.
At first, S wouldn't stand with her back against it because she was
scared of the door stop (silly girl) but I finally convinced her to. She
liked to point at the mark that was hers (which I had to re-do,
realizing that her heels weren't right to the wall the first time).
Here are the girlies first markings, S just over 3 feet and T just over 2.
I am really happy with how it turned out and I'm glad I will have a growth chart that can move easily from house to house with us.
